Kayode Fadahunsi (CEO)
Kayode Fadahunsi is an ardent finance professional with over 19 years’ experience spanningPortfolio/Investment Management, Corporate Finance, Corporate Banking, Investor Relations, Strategy and Structuring of Capital Markets and Mergers and Acquisition deals. Kayode has played a number of significant roles in leading major Merger & Acquisition transactions in Africa. He also has extensive experience in key leading sectors such as financial services (banking and insurance), oil and gas, real estate, telecoms and manufacturing.
His education includes a master’s degree in business administration (“MBA”) from University of Lagos and a BSc Degree in Chemical Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University. Kayode is currently undergoing the Owners President Management Program (OPM 55) at the Harvard Business School. He is also an alumnus of the Lagos Business School where he attended the Chief Executive Program (CEP 25) and the Senior Management Program (SMP 35).
He is a fellow of the Association of Investment Advisers and Portfolio Managers (FIAPM); a Member, Institute of Directors (MIOD); Honorary Senior Member, Chartered Institute of Bankers (HCIB); Associate Member, Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (ACS); Associate Member, Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments (ACISI).
Kayode Falasinnu (CEO AVA GROUP)
Kayode is the Chief Executive Officer of AVA Group. He joined the organization with over 15 years commercial banking and investment banking/capital market experience. He worked in commercial banking with Guaranty Trust Bank Plc before joining BGL Plc where he worked in corporate finance and Investment banking for 3 years. After BGL, Kayode was team lead, Corporate finance at Kedari Capital Limited where he led a corporate finance team on both public and private sector transactions.
Upon completion of his MBA, Kayode was recruited by Millicom UK as business controller to manage and monitor its investments in the huge tech startup, Africa Internet Holdings. He then joined Boston Advisory as Vice President, Investment Banking and became Managing Director/CEO of the Firm in 2017. Kayode holds a B.Sc. Degree in Economics from University of Lagos and an MBA, from ESADE Business School, Barcelona
Samson Adekunle (COO)
Samson Adekunle is a Certified Risk Analyst (CRA®), Authorized Dealing Clerk of the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE), Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (ACS), SEC licensed Compliance Officer, Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment (ACSI) UK and Fellow – GAFM® Global Academy of Finance and Management.
He has 12 years working experience in the financial services industry spanning Banking and Capital Market with core expertise in Strategy, Business Development and Enterprise-wide Risk Management. Samson obtained his MBA and first degree from Obafemi Awolowo University and Executive Certificate in Innovation and Commercialization from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He previously worked in the Risk Management Division of Guaranty Trust Bank Plc and was the Group Head, Risk Management at United Capital Plc. He is an Affiliate Member of Professional Risk Managers’ International Association (PRMIA).
Efe Shaire (CMO)
Efe Shaire is an executive with demonstrable success leading international and multi-disciplinary teams encompassing clients, advisors, regulators and internal stakeholders to deliver both financial and non-financial goals. Also has sectoral experience covering Financial Institutions, Industrials, Telecoms Media and Technology (“TMT”) and FMCG with experience in the full spectrum of investment banking products – M&A, Equity Capital Markets, Debt Solutions.
Efe holds a BSc in Biochemistry from Ambrose Alli University, Edo State, and a CFA Charter holder (August 2013). He also possesses a certificate in Strategic Management: Connected Strategy from Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
He started his career at Standard Trust Bank (Now United Bank for Africa Plc) in December 2002, where he worked as Operations Officer. Efe joined Guarantee Trust Bank in March 2004 and worked as a Relationship Officer, Commercial Banking Group. He joined BGL Group in August 2007 as an Analyst. He also worked as Team Lead, Corporate Finance (March 2009) and thereafter, as Deputy Head, Corporate Finance (January 2011) in the same institution. Efe later joined Absa Group (Corporate and Investment Banking Division, Lagos and Johannesburg) in May 2017, and worked as Head, East Africa Investment Banking. Prior to joining Prosperis Holdings, Efe worked as Head, Business Innovation Division at FMDQ from November 2019.
